Happy 43rd birthday! Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with choosing peace and relaxation over a big celebration. Sometimes the best birthday gift is simply giving yourself permission to slow down and enjoy a quiet day. And treating yourself to a few things you enjoy definitely counts as celebrating! I can definitely understand the appeal of bringing back a physical keyboard! There’s something satisfying about having real keys to type on, but it sounds like the bulk and small keys might cut into the convenience. The wireless charging and backlight are nice touches, though. Definitely one of those gadgets that sounds better in theory until you actually live with it!

I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with so much with your health. Managing diabetes every day, keeping track of your blood sugar, watching your diet, and dealing with medications sounds exhausting. It’s good that your A1C has improved from 8.7 to 7.2, even if it’s not where you want it yet. I hope your appointment goes well and things continue getting better for you.
